Commis Chef Carver
We are currently looking for a Commis Chef Carver for our fine Dining Restaurant at the Club. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills. This is a customer facing role, so you must be professional, confident and presentable. Good knife skills are key and ideally you will have previously held a similar position.
Main Role: To ensure that standards of service are maintained by offering courteous and efficient service to Members and Guests and contribute to the smooth running of the operation through team work.
Main duties:
To work closely with Head Chef and the Dining Room Manager during service.
To prepare / clean the trolley prior to service.
To ensure that all daily specials are carved as per Club’s standard.
To ensure that all carvings are done in front of the member’s table.
To ensure that all foods are served on hot plates and that vegetables are always kept warm and fresh.
To help Dining Room Assistants (waiters) with clearing and restaurant service.
Hours: 30 per week, on rotation.
Starting salary: £1000.00 per month.
