Introduction - Membership Eligibility
"Membership of the Royal Air Force Club is open to present and former serving officers in the Royal Air Force and Allied Air Forces"

Who can be a Member?
A) Anyone who holds or has held a commission in:
- The Royal Air Force.
- The Womens Auxilliary Air Force and The Womens Royal Auxilliary Air Force.
- The Womens Royal Air Force
- The Princess Marys Royal Air Force Nursing Service.
- The Royal Auxiliary Air Forces.
- The Royal Air Force Reserve and Volunteer Reserve (including VR[T]) forces.
- Commonwealth or foreign Air Forces.
- Officers of the Royal Navy or Army serving on an exchange tour of duty with the Royal Air Force for the period of their tour of duty.
B) A widow or widower of a Full Member may apply for full membership in his or her own right. Upon remarriage of such a Widow or Widower, his or her spouse shall not be entitled to Associate Membership.
C) Affiliate and Family membership, which is non-voting, is also available. Please refer to the Rules 7.1 and 7.2. (log in to download the rules)

Annual Subscription
Serving (RAF, PMRAFNS)
Half of one day's pay plus VAT
Reserves (RAFVR[T]), (RAuxAF)

Former Serving/ Foreign Serving/ Affiliate Members
£119.50 including VAT for 2009
Entrance fee payable only by Former-Serving, Family or Affiliate Members. Entrance fees are determined by the Board of Trustees, and currently they are equal to the Former-Serving Subscription, which is £119.50 including VAT for 2009

Can I visit the Club before I am a member?
We have a One day Membership card for those Serving Officers in the Royal Air Force who have not yet joined and who would like to view our facilities and stay overnight. There is no charge for the card - you just have to pay for your accommodation etc.

Associate Membership
Full Members may elect for their spouses to become Associate Members, who shall also be subject to all the Rules of the Club as if they were Full Members.
If a Full Member ceases to be a Member the spouse shall cease to be an Associate Member. Such Associate Membership shall also cease on divorce or judicial separation which circumstances shall be notified by the Member to the General Manager and Secretary.
An Associate Member who is widowed may continue to be an Associate Member, until his or her late spouse's membership expires, notwithstanding an application for Full Membership.
