Working, Meetings and Respecting the Club Environment

The Club recognises that members may occasionally need to work while at the Club. Individual working is permitted in the Business Suite, Library and, for short periods, the Running Horse, Churchill Bar and 601 Squadron Room, when these spaces are available.

The Dining Room remains a space primarily for dining and social interaction. Members may use phones and tablets discreetly at breakfast for reading, browsing and similar personal use, but working and charging of devices should take place in the designated areas elsewhere in the Club.

Small meetings and collaborative discussions may also take place in designated locations, while larger meetings should be held in the Business Suite or booked meeting rooms. Online meetings and calls should be conducted in appropriate areas, with the Club's acoustic pods providing the best sound privacy.

The Club's electronic device policy is designed to balance modern expectations with the character and atmosphere that members value. Members and guests are asked to use electronic devices thoughtfully and courteously, showing consideration for those around them and helping to maintain the welcoming environment that defines the Club.
