Our First Solo Dining Society Dinner
On Thursday evening, the RAF Club hosted its very first Solo Dining Society Dinner, building on the success of the Society’s regular lunches in the Dining Room.
Hosted by Club Trustees Wing Commander Amanda Wolfe RAF and Wing Commander Paula Willmot MBE RAF, the evening brought Members together to enjoy a three-course dinner, good conversation and the opportunity to make new connections within the Club.
The Solo Dining Society was established to bring together Members who typically dine alone or may sometimes hesitate to visit the Club on their own. The first dinner marked an exciting new chapter for the Society, creating a welcoming and sociable environment where our solo diners were able to meet like-minded Members, share experiences and make new friends, all within the glorious setting of the Club's President's Room.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Amanda and Paula for all their work in developing the Solo Dining Society and for hosting such a wonderful evening. We would also like to thank all the Members who joined us and helped make the first dinner such a success.
