Lord Cowdray, the Club's founder, purchased 128 Piccadilly as a gift to house the Royal Air Force Club in 1918, and his dignified portrait now presides over this most memorable of rooms. With stunning views of London’s Green Park, the Cowdray Lounge is at the heart of this exceptional Club, open seven days a week for beverages and Afternoon Tea.

Afternoon Tea: 1300hrs - 1700hrs, 48-hour advanced bookings are required
Cream Tea: 1300hrs - 1700hrs - bookings are not required
We do not take reservations for drinks only, as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Overlooking the Club’s refined surroundings, it offers the perfect atmosphere to pause, unwind, and indulge in a timeless British tradition. Offering a delightful selection of freshly prepared finger sandwiches, handcrafted cakes, delicate pastries, and warm, freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and preserves. Each experience is complemented by a pot of premium Birchall Tea, carefully selected to enhance every bite.

Enjoy a classic Cream Tea in the relaxed surroundings of the Cowdray Lounge — perfect for a lighter indulgence. Freshly baked scones are served warm with clotted cream and preserves, accompanied by a pot of premium Birchall Tea.
Please note we do not take advance bookings for Cream Tea.

Informal dress: from 1000hrs to 1800hrs on weekdays, Friday evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Formal Dress: from 1800hrs Monday to Thursday (from 1st May to 31st August, jackets may be removed)
