We are proud to announce that the Club has achieved EarthCheck Bronze Benchmarked status. This is a significant milestone in our ongoing sustainability journey, and this recognition reflects our dedication to operating responsibly and minimising our environmental impact across every aspect of our business. Through EarthCheck’s rigorous benchmarking process, our performance has been tracked in real time to identify opportunities for improvement and set measurable benchmarks across key areas including our gas, electricity and water use, carbon emissions, waste management, chemical use, paper consumption, and the wellbeing of our community and employees.

This milestone also means we now have a clear and data driven understanding of our environmental footprint, and we can make more informed decisions and focus our efforts where they matter most, driving meaningful change and long-term sustainability improvements. The benchmarking process not only highlights our achievements so far but also provides a transparent framework to monitor progress and ensure accountability as we move forward.

This is just the beginning, and our next goal is to build on this foundation and advance towards our EarthCheck Silver Certification, reaffirming our commitment to continual improvement and responsible business practices in the Club.
