RAF Club Meetings & Events from 17th May 2021
Following the Government roadmap to lifting restrictions across the UK announced on 22nd February 2021, the RAF Club team are currently now taking bookings for small events from 17th May 2021 (Step 3), the date at which the Club is scheduled to begin welcoming members back.

If you wish to hold an event after this date please leave an enquiry via email or by using the contact form here www.rafclub.org.uk/enquire-functions and a member of the team will respond.

Please note that attendees are restricted to the ‘Rule of 6’ or 2 households initially. This is expected to increase in flexibility as we move into the summer and beyond, with meetings and larger functions expected from 21st June onwards.

Should you already have an event booked over the coming months, you will be contacted by a member of the team to reconfirm. We are prioritising enquiries by date order, so please bear with us at this time.

From 21st June 2021*, the Club is delighted to welcome members and guests back to the Club for meetings & events.

​​​If your business is now back in action, we invite you to safely and cost-effectively meet in central London with our ‘Welcome Back’ corporate offer.

Hold your function or meeting for up to 30 people and enjoy a complimentary healthy meeting snack or smoothie per person. Socially Distanced Meetings & Events at the RAF Club: Your Safety First

Please note any dining or private events must adhere to current government guidelines. To ensure adequate social distancing, all enquiries will be considered based on the number of guests, any catering requirements and room configuration. Bookings will only be accepted if we can safely accommodate your function or event.

Staff will also practice a ‘reduced contact’ service style to minimise any potential risk. Limited menus will be in operation and may be subject to change.

Meetings & Conferencing Technology

The Club currently offers:

Jabra Speak video conferencing facilities with intuitive interfaces, multiple connectivity options such as Bluetooth® and superb sound quality. Jabra works with all leading video and audio conferencing solutions and is certified for use with Microsoft Teams & Zoom.

Superfast 1GB fibre internet connection with automatic ‘fall over’ backup and a dedicated AV network.  Hard wired AV connections throughout all function rooms for extra reliability.

The Sovereigns’ Room

The magnificent Sovereigns’ Room (formerly the Club's Ballroom), with its ornate sky-painted ceiling and mirrored panelling, creates the perfect ambience for receptions/launches for up to 200 guests or 140 seated theatre-style for a conference or large event. This spacious room, the largest the Club has to offer, also benefits from a drop down presentation screen and Hearing Loop facilities.

A classic, versatile room, decorated with elegant portraits of distinguished past Presidents of the Club located on the first floor.

The Hodges Room

The Hodges Room, situated off the Club’s ‘Squadron Badge Corridor’, commemorates Air Chief Marshal Sir Lewis Hodges, who was instrumental in securing the future of the Royal Air Force Club.

The Battle of Britain Suite

The modern, yet classic, Battle of Britain Suite on the lower ground floor incorporates both the Spitfire Room and Hurricane Room and works very well for presentations and meetings.

The Lancaster Room

A new addition to the Club’s versatile range of function rooms is the Lancaster Room. Occupying the space which formerly housed the Club’s Study – the Lancaster Room is a light and airy medium-sized room with feature fireplace, alcoves and aviation artwork.

The Boardroom, accessible via the Club’s stylish Dining Room, is an intimate space - perfect for small meetings or dinners of up to eight people.

The historic Club Library, filled with aviation literature and trophies, is available for exclusive evening events.

The Churchill Bar

The stunning Churchill Bar off the main ground floor corridor is a striking space for a drinks reception for up to 80 people and features many portraits of notable RAF Officers  throughout the years.

The Victoria Bar

The Victoria Bar is a charming, traditionally-styled space, with feature fireplace, corner bar and aviation artwork. Located adjacent to the Presidents‘ Room, it is suitable for small meetings or drinks receptions.
