Members and their guests came together yesterday for our much-loved annual Christmas Lunch, a highlight of the festive calendar and a cherished Club tradition. This year’s celebration was graciously hosted by our Chair of the Board of Trustees, Air Vice-Marshal Warren James CB CBE DL.

The afternoon began with warming mulled wine and a sparkling reception, allowing Members and friends to gather, reconnect, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. They were then seated to enjoy a traditional three-course Christmas lunch, featuring turkey with all the trimmings, expertly prepared by Executive Head Chef Elliot Plimmer and his culinary team.

Adding to the sense of occasion, a live choir then performed throughout the lunch, filling the room with classical festive music and encouraging all present to join in a joyful sing-along. The music perfectly added to the wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration.

The Christmas Lunch was a truly marvellous afternoon, capturing the spirit of the season and the enduring traditions of the Club, and creating memories to be cherished by all who attended.
