On Tuesday 11th October, 70 guests gathered for a Black Tie Club Dinner with Col the Rt Hon Bob Stewart DSO MP. After a sparkling reception in the Churchill Bar, Col Stewart spoke passionately about his time as the first British Commander of United Nations forces in Bosnia from 1992-93, and the challenges he faced in various dangerous Operations during this time. Dinner was served after the talk, in a last-minute change of timings, as Col Stewart had to rush to Parliament for a last minute vote at 8pm, in his role as Member of Parliament for Beckenham. Guests enjoyed a delicious Autumnal menu of Cep & caramelized red onion tart, Roast Sirloin of Beef, and Sticky Toffee pudding.
