On Wednesday evening, the Club hosted a truly memorable evening of fine dining, engaging conversation, and fascinating insight with one of Britain’s most recognisable broadcasters, Jeremy Vine. ⁠

With decades of experience as a journalist, radio host, and television presenter, Jeremy captivated Members and their guests throughout the evening with stories from his remarkable 39 years at the BBC. Everyone also enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions and hear first-hand anecdotes from his distinguished broadcasting career. ⁠

The evening began with a Champagne reception before guests sat down to a bespoke three-course dinner, thoughtfully paired with wines and concluded with Port. It was a wonderful occasion filled with laughter, lively discussion, excellent company, and warm camaraderie throughout the Club. ⁠

In support of a cause close to Jeremy’s heart, £15.00 from each ticket sold was donated to Soldiering On, his chosen charity for the evening. ⁠
