We are delighted to announce the appointment of Air Commodore Toria McPhaden CBE as Trustee and Vice-Chair Serving of the Royal Air Force Club following the Club's AGM that took place yesterday.
Air Commodore McPhaden succeeds Air Commodore Phil Wadlow, who will continue to serve as a Club Trustee. She will serve alongside Vice-Chair Flight Lieutenant Haig Tyler, maintaining the vital connection between the Club and the Royal Air Force.

Her distinguished career spans leadership, infrastructure delivery, policy development and major programme management, alongside senior appointments including Head Reward for the RAF and leadership of the Chief of the Air Staff’s Headquarters office.
In command roles, she has served as Officer Commanding Base Support Wing at RAF Benson and as Station Commander at RAF Northolt from 2021–23, overseeing the Station’s significant contribution to national events surrounding the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III.
We warmly welcome Air Commodore McPhaden to the Board and look forward to benefiting from her extensive leadership experience and insight in her new role.
