On Sunday 30th June, Bomber Command veterans and their families gathered at the Bomber Command Memorial on Piccadilly for the annual service to commemorate the extraordinary courage of both the Bomber Command veterans and their 55,573 comrades who were killed during the Second World War.
On Tuesday 25th June, we had the pleasure of welcoming Czech Royal Air Force Veteran Tomáš Lom to the Club for a lunch in the Dining Room followed by a visit to the Bomber Command Memorial on Piccadilly.
The Club sees hundreds of members and guests arrive through the doors each and every day, be it for dining, an overnight stay, events or business.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Bleriot Anniversary Air Race, a group of amateur cyclists led by the Grandsons of both Air Vice Marshall Charles Maughan and Air Vice Marshall Brian Plenderleith will be racing from Marble Arch to the Arc de Triomphe in August 2019.
In response to member feedback, from Monday 25th March 2019 the Club will be introducing a lighter, quicker alternative to the traditional Dining Room breakfast, to be served Monday to Sunday from 0800hrs until 1030hrs.
The Club was privileged to host member & Stalag Luft III POW Air Cdre Charles Clarke OBE & actor John Leyton ‘Willie The Tunnel King’ from the classic 1963 film The Great Escape yesterday, ahead of the official 75th anniversary screening & event on 24/03.
The Club is delighted to announce that we have been ranked the 15th Best Not for Profit Organisation to work for in the UK 2019, a leap of 15 places on last year, the Club’s first year of entering.
The Club’s Chairman Sue Gray has today become the first female to attain the three star rank of Air Marshal in the Royal Air Force.
