VJ Day & Battle of Britain Weekend at the Club

Thursday 6th August 2020

We invite members to help mark the Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary along with VJ Day 75th commemorations at the Club on 20th September & 15th August 2020. Celebratory Club menus will be available in the Dining Room for both weekends, so book a table or why not combine with a weekend break at our promotional rates? For other ways to commemorate these special dates with members of the 'RAF Family', see below. The Club will be fittingly decorated to mark both occasions, with RAF ensigns on display, and of course the Union Jack to welcome members through the doors.

VJ Day: 15th August 2020
Commemorate the 75th anniversary of VJ Day at the Club, with Saturday 15th August 2020 marking both the surrender of Japan and the end of the Second World War. Join us as we remember and recognise all those thousands of personnel who served in the Far East and ultimately brought an end to the Second World War after bitter fighting and many lives lost.

Battle of Britain at the Club: 20th September 2020

This September join fellow members and guests for the Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary. Whilst many events have been sadly been cancelled across the country, the Club is marking this historic date at 128 Piccadilly with a seasonal Club menu and the planned Battle of Britain Club Dinner on 15th September will still be going ahead.
