Tuesday 30th October 2018 was The Royal Air Force Club’s official 100th Birthday, and it was a day of huge celebration.
The Club was privileged to welcome our Royal Patron, Her Majesty The Queen to the Club earlier today to celebrate our centenary year.

We are delighted to announce that Air Marshal Sir David Walker has accepted the invitation of the Board of Trustees to become the President of the Royal Air Force Club, succeeding Sir Peter Squire who sadly passed away in February.
On Monday 3rd September 2018, the Club had the honour of welcoming the Red Arrows to a Club Dinner. The evening consisted of incredible anecdotes and fascinating stories, and an inspiring talk from Sqn Ldr Martin Pert (aka Red 1) about life as Team Leader in the RAF100 year.
This new anthology is a partnership between the Royal Air Force Club and BAE Systems to bring together the art collections of both, celebrating not only the centenary of the RAF, but also that of the RAF Club.

Longstanding member, Club Trustee and Chairman of the Arts Committee, Wg Cdr Michael Gilbert co-authored the definitive account of the Club’s history ‘128’ The Story of the Royal Air Force Club in 2004.
