Wednesday 3rd June 2026
We are delighted to announce the release of the 2026 edition of 128 Magazine, offering an exclusive insight into the people, heritage and stories that make the Royal Air Force Club unique.
This year's issue features Pilots of the Caribbean, a fascinating article by Club Member Terry Jervis exploring the commemorative coin collection honouring the airmen and women of the Caribbean, United States and Africa whose courage and service during wartime helped shape lasting change. We also delve into the rich history of the Running Horse following its landmark refurbishment in 2025, take a closer look at the Club's food and dining offering now that the Ground Floor Kitchen project is complete, and celebrate the loyalty and dedication of our long-standing Members.
Among the highlights is a feature on the remarkable new artwork commemorating the aviators awarded the Victoria Cross during the First and Second World Wars, paying tribute to extraordinary acts of bravery and service.
Alongside these stories, you'll find highlights from recent Club events, a look ahead to our upcoming social calendar, Member stories, Club updates, fundraising initiatives and the latest additions to the Club Shop.
Printed copies will be arriving with UK Members in the coming days, with overseas deliveries following shortly thereafter. In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy the digital edition below.
