It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wg Cdr John Irfon Davies CBE, aged 95, who had been a Club Member of 60 years.
We are delighted to announce that the Ground Floor Kitchen refurbishment is nearly complete, and the Dining Room will officially reopen on Monday, 20th April, beginning with breakfast service and returning to full operation thereafter.
We remain grateful to those Members who have left a legacy gift to the RAF Club in their will.

As a benefit of membership, the Royal Air Force Club offers reciprocal arrangements with over fifty private members’ clubs throughout the world. These include clubs in the UK, Ireland, Europe, America, Australia, Asia and the Far East.
Yesterday, the RAF Club Membership team had the pleasure of travelling to RAF Cranwell to attend its Freshers Fayre, an important moment in the journey of the next generation of Royal Air Force officers.
On Tuesday, 10th March, we were delighted to unveil a special Victoria Cross artwork, which will take pride of place in our newly refurbished Running Horse Tavern.
On Tuesday 3rd March, we were absolutely delighted to host our bi-annual New Members’ Reception and Dinner, to extend a warm welcome to those who have recently joined the club.
On Saturday 24th January, Members and their guests came together to celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns, the national poet of Scotland, at the Club’s beloved annual Burns Night Dinner.
Following the sad passing of our Club Member of over 40 years, The Rt Hon the Lord Tebbit CH, his family wishes to invite those Members who knew him to a Memorial Service, which will take place on Monday 2nd March 2026 at 11.30am, at St Margaret'
