Last week, the RAF Club sealed a special time capsule inside the Running Horse as it undergoes refurbishment. Packed with memories and mementos, it won’t see the light of day for many years to come.

On Sunday, 3rd August, the RAF Club proudly hosted our annual 50-Year Reception, celebrating Members who have been part of the Club for over half a century.
We are pleased to share that the Royal Air Force Club’s renovation of The Running Horse Tavern and its kitchens has reached the halfway mark and is progressing on schedule for completion in early September.

The Library Bar 🍻
Opening on the 2nd of June at 1700hrs!
The Library Bar is officially opening today, serving as the temporary bar while The Running Horse undergoes refurbishment.
Members are invited to support the Running Horse fundraising project by purchasing our new one-pint Pewter Tankards, designed to celebrate the British alehouse tradition.
The Running Horse will be closed for major refurbishment from the 1st June and is expected to re-open by early September.
Temporary New Bar
From the 2nd June, 'The Library Bar' will be open from 1700hrs.
