It is with great sadness that all in the RAF Club mourn the death of our Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth II, who had been our Royal Patron since her accession to the throne on 6th February 1952.

It is with deep sorrow that Buckingham Palace has announced the death of  our Patron Her Majesty The Queen.

Her Majesty passed away peacefully this afternoon at Balmoral Castle.

On 26th July and 7th August, the RAF Club hosted our annual 50 Year Receptions in which we celebrate those members that have been with us for over 50 years.

Following on from the creation of the RAF Regiment & Associated Forces' Badges area on the ground floor of the Club and the huge success in mounting no less than 24 badges there in 2021, the project continues with the presentation of two more badges on 22nd July 2022.

Air Vice-Marshal John A Porter OBE passed away on 25th June 2022. He joined the RAF on his 18th birthday in September 1952 as one of the first batch of University Technical Cadets.

As an RAF Women Officer, you are a member of one of the most exclusive Clubs in the world.

The Club is setting up an Internal Audit function to be staffed by member volunteers and is seeking those with administrative or auditing experience to contribute a small number of days each year to the role.

Our annual Fathers' & Daughters' Dinners took place this year on Friday17th and Monday 20th June. Fathers had the chance to spoil their daughters with an evening of Champagne and fine dining courtesy of Executive Chef Michael Dutnall. Members e
